Norman Lear

The creator of my favorite TV show of all time — “All in the Family” — also created such classics as “Sanford & Son”, “The Jeffersons”, and “Good Times”.  If ever there was a writer from television that influenced not only my life but the lives of my family members, it was Norman Lear.  I can’t think of many days when my Mom didn’t tell someone to “stifle”.  🙂

I wrote to Mr. Lear to thank him for bringing those characters to life and bringing me so much joy.  He signed these two 8x10s to me.
