Lenny Wilkens

NBA Hall of Famer — as a player in 1989, as a coach in 1998, and as part of the ’92 Dream Team in 2010 — Lenny Wilkens signed these two 8x10s for me through the mail.  I absolutely love the one of him with the cigar, which was taken on the occasion of him besting Coach Red Auerbach’s long-standing 938 wins as a coach with his 939th win as a head coach.  Red would always light up a victory cigar back in his days of coaching the dominant Boston Celtics of the 1950s-1960s so it was only fitting that Wilkens did that as a tribute to Red.
